This is already the 3rd change in the regulations in this edition of our photo festival but we do it for you,

so that everything is clear and trouble-free.

We want the festival to be combined with the opportunity to help Laura, free her from the respirator.

We want help in collecting money for her operations that is not refunded by the state.

​

Parents are forced to seek help through the "SiePomaga Foundation". We can all help. It so happened that Laura's fundraiser coincided with our festival. We want festival participants to be able to choose whether they want to join the collection or not, while taking part in the festival. To this end, there are two ways to participate in the festival. One is a standard deposit of 30 euros on our fast food accounts, the other is a deposit to an account specially created for us by the Laura foundation.

Both options are accepted by us, however, please provide proof of payment sent together with photos by wetransfer

In the application and payment for Laura, please provide the nickname with personal data - so that we can identify the author of the payment.

 

I hope that these formalities do not bother you or discourage you in this year's edition and everyone will gladly take part in the presentation of beautiful works. I think it's a great idea to help a girl whose mother is also a photographer from our group. However, assistance is voluntary, so two job submission options are accepted.

Laura, our 9-year-old daughter, suffers from the Ondine Curse, a very rare and fatal genetic disease. Only a few hundred cases of this disease have been confirmed worldwide.

Every night Laura has to be connected to a ventilator, because her brain does not send the impulses responsible for breathing while she sleeps. When Laura closes her eyes, death comes to her - so without the ventilator she would suffocate in her sleep.

As loving parents, we want to do everything in our power to free our daughter from the ventilator and allow her to be as independent as possible. It would be a salvation for Laura. The operation of implanting a diaphragm nerve stimulator will allow her to breathe on her own. Thanks to this procedure, our girl will be freed from the machine and will also be able to have her tracheostomy eliminated.

As the costs exceed our capabilities, we would be very grateful for any help in financing this surgery.

We would like to inform you that we are starting the second edition of the International Photo Festival "Through a Mother's & Father's eyes photography", to whose works will be selected on a competitive basis. Now you can browse your photos with children, because the main themes will be, childhood and adolescence. You will need 5 to 10 of your best photos for your portfolio.

 

From today until 5/01/2020 you can send your work. The winning photos will be presented at the December exhibition in Amsterdam.

Everything will be supervised by the originator, creator of the photo group and organizer - Anna Ajtner.

Exhibition:

"Through a Mother's & Father's eyes photography"

The title of this exhibition comes from the name of an international photo group “Through a mother's eyes photography” & “ Through a Father's Eyes Photography”. The group was created in 2013 and is still growing. It was created for the needs of the exhibition that traveled around Poland. The founder and curator of the exhibition was Anna Ajtner and of course the mother who contributed their photographs. From the beginning, the group was represented only by photographing mothers who record and interpret their child's childhood. The authors are often the winners of prestigious photographic prizes. There are over 4000 active photographers from all over the world at "Through a mother's eyes photography". Every day they can post their photos there, where the best are awarded with publications and distinctions by leading administrators.

At the Amsterdam exhibition we will select our favorite 20 authors on a competition basis. From each of them we will choose one of his best photographic works, which will be presented in the Polish Library in Amsterdam (Keizersgracht 174-176 1016 DW Amsterdam).

The exhibition will open on February 2020.

It will be a feast for connoisseurs of photography and the opportunity to move back in time to their own childhood, because we will probably identify with the actors of this spectacle.

Regulations for the participation in the second edition of the International Photography Festival:

 

"Through a Mother's and Father's eyes photography" - Amsterdam 2019.

 

 

The competition is open to anyone who photographs childhood.  

Parents are especially welcome, but all photographers for whom children and their childhood or growing up are favorite subjects are allowed to enter the competition. 

We kindly ask you to put an annotation in the report whether the children are their own or not and whether we have permission to publish from the legal guardian of the child. 

The author also assumes responsibility for submitting third party claims. 

The organizer does not take responsibility for it. 

The statement from the author must be clear and the author should provide the signature of his model's legal guardian if asked by the organizer.

​

The organizer reserves the right to repeatedly publish photos in promotional and advertising materials, and the author also consents by sending photos to this competition.

​

Organizer and promoter of the exhibition is Anna Ajtner with photo groups "Through a mother's eyes photography"

and "Through a Father's Eyes Photography" in collaboration with the Biblioteka Polska in Amsterdam,

Klub Miłośników Fotografii and Ajtner Fine Art Gallery.

These works may not violate copyright, and the author, by sending works, declares that he is their creator and that he has a contract with the model, models on the presented works. 

The deadline for submitting entries is January 5​. 

After this date, recruitment will be completed.
The result will be announced in the second week of January, 14/01/2020

Ponizej szczegoly dotyczacych zgloszenia prac i akceptowanych wplat oraz zasady.

Laura, nasza 9-letnia córka, cierpi na Ondine Curse, bardzo rzadką i śmiertelną chorobę genetyczną.

Tylko kilkaset przypadków tej choroby zostało potwierdzonych na całym świecie. Każdej nocy Laura musi być podłączona do respiratora,

ponieważ jej mózg nie wysyła impulsów odpowiedzialnych za oddychanie podczas snu.

Kiedy Laura zamyka oczy, przychodzi do niej śmierć - więc bez wentylatora udusiłaby się we śnie.

Jako kochający rodzice, chcemy zrobić wszystko, co w naszej mocy, aby uwolnić naszą córkę od respiratora

i pozwolić jej być możliwie najbardziej niezależnym. To byłoby zbawienie dla Laury.

Operacja wszczepienia stymulatora nerwu przeponowego pozwoli jej na samodzielne oddychanie.

Dzięki tej procedurze nasza dziewczyna zostanie uwolniona z maszyny, a także będzie mogła wyeliminować jej tracheostomię.

Ponieważ koszty przekraczają nasze możliwości, bylibyśmy bardzo wdzięczni za wszelką pomoc w finansowaniu tej operacji.

Każdego dnia mogą zamieszczać tam swoje zdjęcia, gdzie najlepsi są nagradzani publikacjami i wyróżnieniami wiodących administratorów.

Na wystawie w Amsterdamie wybieramy naszych ulubionych 20 autorów na podstawie konkursu.

Regulamin uczestnictwa w drugiej edycji Międzynarodowego Festiwalu Fotografii: „Fotografia oczami matki i ojca”

- Amsterdam 2019.

 

Konkurs jest otwarty dla każdego, kto fotografuje dzieciństwo.

Rodzice są szczególnie mile widziani, ale wszyscy fotografowie, dla których dzieci i ich dzieciństwo lub dorastanie są ulubionymi przedmiotami, mogą wziąć udział w konkursie.

 

Uprzejmie prosimy o umieszczenie adnotacji w zgloszeniu, czy dzieci są własne, czy nie, i czy mamy pozwolenie na publikację od prawnego opiekuna dziecka.

 

Autor przyjmuje również odpowiedzialność za zgłaszanie roszczeń osób trzecich.

 

Organizator nie bierze za to odpowiedzialności.

 

Oświadczenie autora musi być jasne, a autor powinien przedstawić podpis prawnego opiekuna swojego modela, jeśli poprosi o to organizator.

 

Organizator zastrzega sobie prawo do wielokrotnego publikowania zdjęć w materiałach promocyjnych i reklamowych,

- ogłoszenia wyników i wystawy końcowej oraz możliwość decydowania o przyznaniu nagród końcowych.

Jeśli jest niewielu uczestników, konkurs zostanie zamknięty.

Wszystko odbędzie się w porozumieniu z powołaną komisją festiwalu.
